In America, we’ve decreased dramatically our consumption of fish, which offers us omega-3 fatty acids. This decrease in fish oil makes it harder for our bodies to fight inflammation. In addition, cheap Vegetable oils and too much meat are causing us to eat way more Omega-6 fatty acids than our bodies need. Add to that bad carbs and that’s a problem. A problem that causes your excess body fat which is stored in your fat cells to spill over into the blood, causing toxic fat syndrome.
What can you do? Make sure to eat the good carbs: whole grain rice, oats, bread etc. Good carbs are also fresh fruit by the way. Cook with high quality extra virgin olive oil and be sure to eat fish at least twice per week or take a fish oil supplement.
